Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years in property casualty insurance with state rate/rule filings.
• Supervisory/management experience required.
• Familiarity with residual market automobile insurance plan rules and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review sources to ensure policy writing forms, rating rules and policy forms comply with state and federal laws.
• Review proposed plans of operation, forms and rating rules for implementation of solutions.
• Present proposals to Governing Committees for approval of manuals and policy forms.
• Oversee proposals through committees and provide subject matter expertise as needed.
• Coordinate communication with state insurance regulators.
• Provide final quality check for research, analysis, product development and state filings.
• Manage publication of Manual Revisions and Policy Forms Circulars.
• Provide technical supervision, support and training for assigned staff.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to provide subject matter expertise.
