Qualifications

• 0–3 years insurance experience
• Willing to take insurance classes and attain designations
• Exceptional organization, follow-up, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proactive problem solving and willingness to help others
• Advanced PC skills in Word/Excel and related software

Responsibilities

• Meet quality measurement goals by delivering high quality service and ensuring file activity meets quality procedures
• Assist Associate Broker with submission process and related tasks
• Prepare Quotes and Confirmation of Coverage (Binders) as directed
• Policy checking to ensure issued policies align with binder terms
• Handle endorsements and follow up on changes and invoicing
• Manage and maintain suspenses and escalate unresolved items as needed
• Submit Surplus Line documents correctly and on time
• Learn and improve system skills to increase efficiency
• Attend required educational seminars
• Produce and mail renewal letters with applications to customers
• Review renewal/new business information and request missing information as required
• Process certificates of insurance when applicable
• Provide input to departmental procedures
• Assist with accounting reconciliation projects
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned
• Work with AB Team Lead and Brokers and cover duties during absences
