Job summary

AAA Oregon/Idaho is seeking a joyful Member Service and Insurance Representative for our Coos Bay team. The role greets members and assists with travel store services, including sales, cashiering, and memberships, while promoting insurance and travel products.

The position is full-time and in-office, with hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm. Starting pay is $22.00–$24.00 per hour, with competitive benefits and 401(k) contributions.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous customer service or cashiering experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high level of responsiveness, including in-person, email, and phone.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets AAA members and assists with services in the travel store including sales, cashiering, merchandising, membership, and financial services.
• Promotes and supports insurance and travel agents by pursuing opportunities to serve members with AAA products and services.
• Interacts with members with a positive disposition and delivers quality service.
• Works in-office at the Coos Bay service center, following standard hours.

AAA Oregon/Idaho is currently seeking a joyful customer service-minded individual to join our Coos Bay team!

Based in our Coos Bay Service Center, the Member Service and Insurance Representative greets AAA members and assist with a variety of services in the travel store including sales, cashiering, merchandising, membership, and financial services. Support and promote insurance and travel agents by actively pursuing all opportunities to create new and serve existing members by promoting the diverse variety of products and services of AAA. Approach member and colleague interactions with a positive disposition.

This is a full-time, in-office position. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Skill & Experience:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous customer service or cashiering experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high level of responsiveness, including in-person, email, and phone.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and database systems.

Starting pay at $22.00-24.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus general health/vision/dental plan (75% employer paid!),time off programs, disability/life insurance, up to9% 401(k) total employer contribution, AAA membership, and more.
