Americo Financial Life and Annuity is seeking a Marketing Communication Specialist to support life insurance and annuity products from our Kansas City office. This role focuses on translating product features into audience-ready content across digital, print, and agent-facing channels.

The position emphasizes collaboration with product, legal, and compliance teams, and requires strong copywriting, editing, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• 0–2+ years in marketing, communications, copywriting or related.
• Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading with attention to detail.
• Experience with desktop publishing tools and social/email marketing platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Portfolio or work samples demonstrating marketing communications experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated campaign content across email, web, print, and agent-facing materials.
• Coordinate compliance reviews with Product, Legal, and Compliance.
• Track content through drafting, review, approval, and delivery on schedule.
• Support agent and IMO requests using pre-approved materials and route non-standard requests through reviews.
• Maintain brand voice and messaging across channels for consistency.
• Produce promotional and educational materials to support product features and positioning.
• Monitor engagement metrics and recommend content or channel adjustments.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on cross-functional initiatives.
