Job summary

A software consultancy is seeking an Insurance Licensing Coordinator / Account Manager in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role involves managing licensing and compliance processes for insurance agents and agencies. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years in insurance licensing, strong knowledge of compliance regulations, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include processing licenses, validating compliance status, and researching regulatory requirements. This position will also entail presenting demos of the Agenzee platform to clients and supporting their inquiries.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in insurance licensing within the Property & Casualty, and/or Life, Health & Disability Insurance sectors.
• Proven experience with processes such as obtaining and renewing licenses, updating contact details, and managing carrier state appointments.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, statutes, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Process new and renewal licenses, address/contact changes, and manage carrier state appointments.
• Validate the licensing and appointment status to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Research state requirements to determine applicable licensing regulations.
• Monitor changes in insurance regulations and compliance standards.
