Job summary

Associated Agencies Inc. is seeking a Talent Development Specialist to support learning and development activities that help employees build job knowledge and skills within the insurance industry.

Reporting to the Talent Development Manager, you will coordinate onboarding, prepare resources, and support live and virtual sessions, while learning essential tools and practices. The role emphasizes collaboration with managers and subject matter experts, access to Articulate Rise/Storyline, LMS

Qualifications

• Insurance industry experience typically as an Account Manager for 3–5 years.
• Proficiency with Applied Epic.
• Ability to explain processes clearly across in-person, hybrid, and virtual sessions.
• Experience helping colleagues learn tasks, document procedures, and support onboarding.
• Willingness to learn Articulate 360 (Rise/Storyline) and use approved templates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint).
• Ability to maintain accurate records and protect confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support talent development initiatives under the Talent Development Manager.
• Coordinate onboarding schedules, checklists, training activities, and progress updates.
• Document departmental workflows, terminology, and tasks using insurance knowledge.
• Create, update, and maintain eLearning, job aids, presentations, and facilitator materials; learn Rise and Storyline.
• Support in-person, hybrid, and virtual sessions with materials, logistics, attendance, and tech.
• Provide routine learning platform support: user records, content uploads, assignments, completion records, reporting.
• Collaborate with HR, department partners, and external vendors to coordinate activities.
• Prepare learning communications and help employees access resources using templates.
• Track participation, completion, and feedback; prepare routine reports.
