Job summary

Arrowhead Automotive, a division of Brown & Brown Insurance, seeks a Business Development Specialist in Salt Lake City, UT to generate new business and support marketing efforts. You will work with senior leaders to expand our customer base in the automotive insurance sector and leverage cross-selling opportunities.

You will analyze accounts, build relationships with decision-makers, and drive leads through networking and campaigns, while maintaining accurate records and staying current on

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• State insurance license required within 90 days of employment; license coursework and exam costs covered by Arrowhead.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business and contribute to marketing and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with VP of Business Development and Commercial Lines Manager to expand customer base in the insurance industry.
• Analyze current customer accounts to identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with Account Management to review in-force accounts for cross-selling.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers on existing accounts to deepen engagement and referrals.
• Generate new business leads from lost accounts, industry listings, networking, and referrals.
• Maintain records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities.
• Work with marketing to develop and implement sales campaigns.
• Manage a portfolio of lost accounts and develop strategies to win back business.
• Stay updated with industry trends and insurance policy changes.
