Kentucky Employers' Mutual Insurance (KEMI) is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional in Lexington to support daily accounting tasks, payments processing, and reconciliations. You will post deposits, manage unsettled items, and assist with bank reconciliations while coordinating with Underwriting, Claims, and Human Resources as needed.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and effective communication within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred.
• 1–3 years insurance or accounting experience preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and utilize business systems, software, and tools.

Responsabilités

• Review and post daily deposits and reconcile policy system with general ledger.
• Process incoming payments (ACH, wire, checks) and handle voids/stop payments.
• Prepare and analyze bank reconciliations and reconciliations of premiums receivable.
• Generate HRIS benefits reports and monthly benefit variance analysis.
• Provide exceptional customer service in Finance and support accounting duties.
