Job summary

Frost Insurance Agency in Texas is seeking an Insurance Development Associate I to help build long-term client relationships through hands-on learning and interactive training across insurance products.

You will assist producers in sales, marketing, and maintenance for accounts, prepare proposals, and present plans to clients while developing knowledge of coverage and risk management. This role emphasizes integrity and excellence in service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or a business-related field, or 4+ years in a sales environment.
• Texas General Lines Agent License in Property and Casualty or Life, Accident, Health, and HMO, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to start January 2027 or July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge of insurance coverage, industry research, and Frost products through training.
• Assist producers and account managers with sales, marketing, and maintenance for new and existing accounts.
• Prepare formal insurance proposals including coverage details and renewals.
• Assist in client meetings to present proposals and renewals and build long-term relationships.
• Provide excellent customer service by surveying prospects and inspecting policies and risk plans.
• Support plan renewals by reviewing expiration lists and gathering renewal information.
• Help with company submissions and market selection for submissions.
• Aim to obtain necessary insurance licenses.
• Act with integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve win-win outcomes.
