Job summary

Frost Insurance Agency in Texas is seeking an Insurance Development Associate I to build insurance knowledge, gain sales experience, and learn Frost’s relationship-management process. You will assist producers and account managers in sales and maintenance for insured accounts, prepare proposals, and present plans to clients to establish long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or a related field, or 4+ years in a sales role
• Texas General Lines Agent License in Property and Casualty (P&C) or Life, Accident, Health, and HMO, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge of insurance coverage, industry research, and available products through training
• Assist producers and account managers in sales, marketing, and maintenance for new and existing accounts
• Prepare formal insurance proposals with coverage details, limits, deductibles, and other pertinent information; assist in presenting proposals to clients
• Assist in appointments with clients to present proposals and renewals; establish long-term relationships
• Provide excellent customer service by surveying prospects, inspecting policies, risk management plans, property, products and records, and directing calls to the right service person
• Participate in plan renewals by reviewing expiration listings and collecting information for renewals
• Build knowledge of coverage and markets; work with team to complete submissions and select markets
• Work toward obtaining insurance licenses
• Act with integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve outcomes
