Job summary

Frost Insurance Agency seeks an FIA Insurance Development Associate I to build long‑term client relationships and gain product knowledge through hands‑on training and mentorship. You will assist in sales, marketing, and maintenance for existing accounts, while preparing detailed proposals and supporting renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management and Insurance or 4+ years in a sales environment with ability to pursue and close deals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge of insurance coverage, products, and industry trends through practical training.
• Assist producers and account managers in sales, marketing, and maintenance for new and existing accounts.
• Prepare insurance proposals detailing coverage limits and deductibles and present proposals to clients.
• Assist in client appointments to present proposals and renewals, establishing long-term relationships.
• Provide excellent customer service by surveying prospects, reviewing policies, and directing calls to the right service person.
• Participate in plan renewals by reviewing expiration lists and preparing renewal submissions.
• Work toward obtaining insurance licenses.
