Ascendion partners with a growing law firm in Charleston, SC seeking an Insurance Defense Paralegal with 2+ years of experience. The role requires discovery, medical summaries, updating adjusters, and subpoenas, plus strong research and proficiency with data room platforms (Intralinks, Firmex).

Responsibilities include 20 hours of weekly billables, handling 100+ cases as you ramp up, performing due diligence, lien and UCC searches, and preparing regulatory filings along with drafting NDAs,

Qualificações

• 2+ years of paralegal experience in insurance defense or related area.
• Experience with discovery, medical summaries, subpoenas.
• Strong research skills and familiarity with legal databases.

Responsabilidades

• Weekly billables around 20 hours per week.
• Manage 100+ cases as you ramp up.
• Conduct due diligence research, lien and UCC searches.
• Prepare federal, state, and local regulatory filings.
• Draft and organize contracts, NDAs, closing certificates, and officer certificates.
