Job summary

RecruitPod Global LLC is seeking an Insurance Defense Paralegal for our Charleston, SC office. The role focuses on administrative and litigation support for a high-volume caseload (approximately 200–250 cases).

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of paralegal experience in insurance defense, familiarity with litigation procedures, court filings, subpoenas, and medical records management. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience, preferably in insurance defense litigation.
• Familiarity with litigation procedures, court filings, subpoenas, and medical records management.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle 200–250-case caseload.

Responsibilities

• Case Administration: Maintain and organize litigation files with deadlines and important dates for 200–250 cases.
• Prepare legal correspondence, case-related reports, and administrative documentation.
• Schedule and calendar management for depositions, hearings, and litigation activities.
• Manage medical records: collect, organize, and maintain related documentation.
• Prepare subpoenas and related documentation; file documents with state and federal courts (e-filing).
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to attorneys to ensure smooth office operations.
• Coordinate with attorneys and staff to support case management and timely progression.
