Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of insurance defense and civil litigation matters.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Support insurance defense and civil litigation cases from intake through resolution.
• Manage legal documents, case files, discovery materials, deadlines, and calendars.
• Assist attorneys with research, case preparation, client communication, and trial support.
• 3 to 5 years of paralegal experience preferred, with prior litigation experience strongly valued.
• Previous experience as a paralegal in insurance defense, civil litigation, or a related legal practice area.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, litigation procedures, pleadings, discovery, and court deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal office technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior insurance defense experience.
• Civil litigation experience within a law firm environment.
• Paralegal education, certificate, or related legal studies background.
