Synectics Inc. seeks an experienced attorney in Atlanta, GA to manage civil litigation from filing through trial. You will draft pleadings, conduct depositions, and perform in-depth legal research while coordinating with partners and clients.

The role requires 3–5 years of civil litigation or insurance defense, exceptional writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to handle multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Georgia Bar member in good standing.
• Bar admission to Georgia courts.
• 3–5 years' civil litigation or insurance defense experience.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced litigation environment.
• Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and critical-thinking.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with experienced partners and senior attorneys.
• Handle all stages of litigation from case initiation through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and discovery documents.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Perform in-depth legal research and provide strategic analysis.
• Manage multiple active litigation files and deadlines.
• Prepare for and support trial and appellate proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
