RevCats is hiring an Insurance Defense Legal Assistant for a full-time, direct-hire role in Tallahassee, Florida. Local candidates only; relocation is not available.

The compensation package includes a $60,000-$68,000 annual salary and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include scheduling hearings and meetings, document management, filing, invoicing, conflict checks, and client communications to support a busy insurance-defense practice.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of first-party property or liability insurance-defense legal-assistant experience; five+ years preferred.
• No bachelor’s degree requirement.
• Strong deadline management, document accuracy, professional communication, and ability to support a busy practice.

Responsabilités

• Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations and attorney meetings; calendar discovery, trial and other deadlines.
• Scan and maintain documents and mail in the document-management system.
• Prepare court-filing documents including hearing, mediation and deposition notices.
• Process invoices for subpoenas, document requests and transcripts.
• Maintain correspondence, case/trial lists and closed files; open files and run conflict checks.
• Transcribe attorney dictation when applicable; communicate with clients, opposing counsel and vendors; arrange attorney travel and meeting rooms.
