Qualifications

• NC licensed civil litigation attorney with at least 2 years of related experience.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Experience defending civil litigation claims with preference for construction, products liability, professional liability, premises liability, and commercial litigation.
• Experience handling discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Trial preparation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage various phases of litigation for assigned cases.
• Handle all phases of discovery, motions, and depositions.
• Appear before state and federal courts.
• Perform legal research, draft pleadings, motions and briefs.
• Develop facts and make legal arguments, reporting updates to the managing attorney and clients.
