Job summary

Hedrick Gardner Kincheloe & Garofalo LLP in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Special Counsel to join our Civil Litigation team. This role focuses on defending complex civil matters and guiding cases through all phases of litigation.

The ideal candidate is a North Carolina-licensed attorney with at least five years of civil litigation experience, strong writing and advocacy skills, and a proven ability to manage matters independently while collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of civil litigation experience.
• Demonstrated experience defending civil litigation claims through all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload and develop case strategy.
• Advocate on behalf of clients through hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Deliver high-quality legal representation from inception through resolution.
• Collaborate with team members while maintaining efficient matter management.

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in North Carolina
