Job summary

gpac seeks a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of litigation experience and will grow within a collaborative, fast-paced practice, handling cases through all litigation stages with direct client interaction.

Responsibilities include managing discovery, drafting pleadings and briefs, taking depositions, and performing legal research while reporting updates to the managing attorney and clients. Remote work capabilities are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• NC licensed civil litigation attorney with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Experience defending civil litigation claims with preference for construction, products, professional, premises and commercial matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage various phases of litigation for assigned cases through all stages.
• Handle discovery, motions, and depositions; file pleadings, motions and briefs.
• Perform legal research and report case updates to supervising attorney and clients.
