Initial onboarding emphasizes in-office collaboration for 90 days, then a flexible hybrid schedule. Georgia Bar admission is required, and a strong skill set in research, drafting, and advocacy is essential to success.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Georgia Bar license required.
• 1+ year of associate-level civil litigation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance defense and civil litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Review claim files, communicate with insured clients, and identify key facts and issues.
• Draft responsive pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions and develop trial strategies.
• Analyze medical, employment, and other records for key evidence.
• Prepare detailed case evaluations addressing liability, damages, and strategy.
• Communicate with insureds and claims representatives about case developments.
• Handle motions including dismissals and summary judgments; participate in settlements.
• Prepare cases for trial with witness prep, exhibits, and jury strategy.
• Appear at hearings, arbitrations, and trials; collaborate with team to move matters efficiently.
• Meet a 2,000 annual billable hour expectation with accurate time entries.
