Job summary

Orionplacement in Atlanta, GA seeks an associate attorney to manage insurance defense and civil litigation from intake to resolution. You will review files, draft pleadings and discovery, and take depositions while developing litigation strategies.

Ideal candidates hold a Georgia bar license, have 1+ year of associate-level civil litigation experience, and bring strong research, drafting, and advocacy skills. Onboarding starts in-office with potential hybrid work after integration.

Qualifications

1+ year of associate-level civil litigation experience required.
Active Georgia Bar license required.
Insurance defense litigation experience strongly preferred.
Strong legal research, drafting, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

Manage insurance defense and civil litigation matters from intake through resolution.
Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and other filings.
Take and defend depositions; develop trial strategies.
Prepare case evaluations addressing liability, damages, and strategy.
Communicate with insureds and claims representatives on case developments.
Appear at hearings, arbitrations, and trials; contribute to settlements.
