The ideal candidate will defend insurance companies against claims, manage a heavy caseload, and thrive under pressure with a proven track record in depositions, motions, and mediation.

Requirements include a JD, state bar admission, and at least 5 years in insurance defense litigation.

Responsibilities

• Represent insurance companies in defense against claims and suits.
• Conduct thorough legal research to prepare for case proceedings.
• Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court hearings.
• Develop and implement a strategic defense plan for each case.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
• Provide legal advice regarding potential exposure and risks.
• Stay updated on laws, regulations, and trends related to insurance defense.
• Manage and prioritize a heavy caseload while maintaining quality work.
• Participate in firm marketing and client development activities.

The candidate should be adept at managing a heavy caseload and be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This position requires 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

1. Represent insurance companies in defense against claims and suits.
2. Conduct thorough legal research to prepare for case proceedings.

4. Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court hearings.

Qualifications

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
4. Proven experience in depositions, motions, and mediation.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
7. Ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet deadlines.
8. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
11. Proven track record of achieving favorable case outcomes for clients.
