Location:
Duties:
- Handle a variety of insurance defense matters, including General Liability, Bodily Injury, Nursing Home/ALF, First Party Property, Construction Defect, and Trucking/Maintenance of Traffic cases.
- Collaborate with other attorneys to explore early resolution strategies and alternative approaches to litigation.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with clients regarding case progress.
- Participate in trial preparation, motions, and case management.
- Work with dedicated teams to promote success and early resolution opportunities.
- Utilize technology and case management systems for efficient case handling and communication.
- Participate in firm-wide training, mentoring, and roundtable discussions to enhance legal skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience handling insurance defense matters.
- Strong experience in areas such as General Liability, Bodily Injury, First Party Property, and related practice areas.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple cases.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to update clients promptly and professionally.
- Proficiency in using case management software and other relevant technology.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high ethical standards in timekeeping and billing practices.
- Knowledge of AIM/Perfect Law is a plus.
- Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active membership with the Florida Bar.
