Job summary

RemotePeople in Houston is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join a growing team. This role offers a steady, high-volume caseload with meaningful earning potential and room for advancement.

The attorney will handle matters from intake through resolution, draft filings, and take depositions, while coordinating with insurance carriers and adjusting to strategy and settlements.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (active, good standing).
• 2-10+ years of litigation experience; insurance defense experience strongly preferred.
• Strong writing, research, and case management skills.
• Comfortable working directly with insurance carrier clients and adjusters.
• Ability to manage a moderate-to-high volume caseload independently.

• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to manage deadlines and case files efficiently.
• Evaluate cases for liability and litigation strategy.
