Job Details

We are seeking a talented Insurance Defense Associate to join our dynamic team in Atlanta.

As an associate, you will be immersed in all stages of complex litigation, working alongside top litigators in the field.

You will handle professional liability, general liability, and commercial coverage cases, providing a broad experience for a driven attorney.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and summarize legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and investigate facts.
• Evaluate cases and develop strategic defenses.
• Conduct client meetings and recommend strategies.
• Plan, prepare, and conduct depositions.
• Prepare and argue motions.
• Conduct hearings and mediations.
• Prepare witnesses and corporate representatives.
• Brief at trial and appellate courts.
• Write defense mediation summaries.
  
  

Qualifications

• Actively licensed and in good standing with the State of Georgia.
• 3-7 years of experience in defense litigation, with solid insurance defense experience.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment with exceptional organizational skills.
• Self-starter who can handle multiple projects and understand the importance of deadlines.
• Client-focused mentality with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Experience in reviewing and interpreting financial records is a plus.
