Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active admission to the New Hampshire Bar.
• At least 1 year of civil litigation experience.
• Experience practicing in NH state and federal courts.
• Experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Experience handling discovery and depositions.
• Experience in professional liability, tort and liability defense, workers' compensation, or closely related civil litigation.

Aufgaben

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal memoranda.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings and trials.

Masis Professional Group is recruiting an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney for an established regional litigation firm in Manchester, New Hampshire. This opportunity is geared toward an attorney with early-career civil litigation experience who is ready to manage substantive matters while continuing to develop alongside experienced litigators.

The practice includes professional liability, tort and liability defense, workers' compensation, and related civil litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal memoranda.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings and trials.
• Conduct legal research and contribute to litigation strategy.
• Communicate directly with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and members of the litigation team.
• Manage case deadlines and provide regular client status updates.
