Ascendion is partnering with a regional insurance defense law firm in New Hampshire seeking an Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience and must be admitted to practice in NH.

The role is hybrid, offering a full benefits package and flexible work schedule. You will manage a caseload from evaluation to resolution, conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and handle depositions and witness preparation in insurance defense matters such as medmal,

Formación

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in NH.
• 2+ years of insurance defense experience.
• Experience in medmal, products liability or premises liability preferred.

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and briefs to support defense strategies.

We are working with a Regional Insurance Defense Law Firm, looking for an Associate Attorney to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 2+ years experience. This role is hybrid.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience
• Previous experience in either; medmal, products liability, premises liability, etc.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in NH

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients.
• Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies.
• Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings

The annual salary for this position is between 150k-180k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
