Job summary

Spencer-Hall State Farm Agency seeks a dedicated Customer Service Representative to engage customers across phone, in person, text and email, and to maintain and service policies. On-the-job training is provided for insurance duties, with licenses obtainable within 6 weeks of offer.

You will join a team working closely with an Office Manager, handling billing, inquiries and account updates in a fast-paced environment with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience required, 2-3 years preferred
• Associate's degree -OR- equivalent work experience preferred
• Ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance licenses within 6 weeks of offer
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office and Teams; CRM/eCRM experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and multitasking
• Must be a team player and work closely with a small team

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers over phone, in-person, text and email in a friendly, professional manner
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth
• Assist customers in resolving issues and answering questions about State Farm products
• Review customer accounts to identify issues and opportunities
• Contact customers to set up general and product meetings
• Maintain, update and service customer accounts and policies
• Manage weekly/monthly sales and performance goals
• Process payments and assist with billing issues
