HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned Insurance Coverage & Complex Litigation Associate Attorney to join one of our valued client partners in Colorado. This full-time opportunity is designed for an accomplished litigation attorney with expertise in insurance defense, coverage analysis, and complex civil suits.

The successful candidate will manage multifaceted matters, including coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, and bad faith claims, with courtroom

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Colorado law license.
• Minimum three (3) years of litigation experience in a law firm.
• Experience handling insurance-related litigation: coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, bad faith, first/third-party claims.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience drafting dispositive motions.
• Experience appearing in Colorado state and federal courts.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational and case management abilities.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance defense litigation from pre-suit through trial and appeal.
• Represent carriers and self-insured organizations in complex first/third-party litigation.
• Investigate liability, evaluate claims, and develop litigation strategies.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, experts, and corporate reps.
• Draft dispositive motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Prepare detailed insurance coverage opinions and analyses.
• Appear before Colorado courts for hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients on strategy, risk analysis, and case management.
• Maintain high-quality legal writing, research, and documentation across multiple matters.
