Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience preferred in insurance coverage and complex litigation.
• Experience handling insurance coverage disputes in commercial insurance.
• Experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation: investigations, discovery, pleadings, depositions, mediation, motions.
• Experience reviewing commercial/personal lines policies, drafting coverage evaluations, and reservation of rights letters.
• Excellent academic credentials with strong legal research and writing skills.
• Active bar license in the relevant state or plan to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurance coverage disputes in the commercial insurance sector.
• Conduct factual investigations and discovery in related matters.
• Prepare pleadings and take depositions; participate in mediation and argue motions.
• Communicate extensively with clients and provide coverage position updates.
