Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney with a minimum of five years of experience. The role offers hybrid work with offices nationwide or the option to work virtually, with a preference for candidates in Illinois, Michigan, or Wisconsin.

The ideal candidate will manage complex insurance coverage disputes, conduct investigations, draft pleadings, take depositions, and engage in mediation. Excellent academic credentials and bar admission in the applicable state are required.

Qualifications

• Experience handling insurance coverage disputes in the commercial insurance sector.
• Experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation: discovery, pleadings, depositions, mediation, motions, client communication.
• Experience reviewing insurance policies and drafting coverage evaluations and reservation of rights letters.

Responsabilités

• Handle insurance coverage disputes and coordinate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Conduct factual investigations and discovery in complex matters.
• Prepare pleadings, take depositions, and participate in mediations.
• Argue motions and communicate strategy and case status to clients.
• Draft coverage evaluations and reservation of rights letters.
