POSITION PURPOSE

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Insurance Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical in managing insurance-related tasks, ensuring that our patients receive the maximum benefits from their insurance plans. You will be an integral part of our team, responsible for a wide range of insurance-related duties and contributing to the overall efficiency of our practice.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits for treatments and procedures.
  • Claim Submission: Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Payment Posting: Post insurance payments to patient accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Follow-Up: Follow up on outstanding claims, resolving any issues or discrepancies with insurance companies.
  • Patient Communication: Communicate with patients regarding their insurance benefits, coverage details, and any necessary documentation.
  • Account Management: Manage patient accounts, ensuring all insurance-related information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals to form a highly effective team, attending to the administrative tasks of the office.

  • Customer Service Expertise: Experienced with customer service techniques, ensuring a superior patient experience.
  • Communication Skills: Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members.
