Job summary

Oral Surgery Partners is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to oversee insurance activities across our oral surgery practices. You will verify coverage, obtain authorizations, and handle claims processing and patient inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.

The role emphasizes compliance, detailed documentation, and collaboration with providers, insurers, and billing teams in a fast-paced setting. Prior billing or insurance coordination experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in insurance coordination, medical billing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with healthcare insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Insurance Verification and Authorization: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits; obtain pre-authorizations and referrals; ensure documentation is complete.
• Claims Processing: Prepare and submit claims; monitor status; resolve discrepancies; process patient refunds and inquiries.
• Billing and Reconciliation: Assist in billing with accurate coding; reconcile payments; identify billing errors.
• Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain knowledge of regulations; ensure compliance; keep organized records.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work with providers, billing, and insurers; participate in process improvements.
