Qualifications

• Review group medical reinsurance contracts and insurance policy documents for accuracy.
• Maintain licensing records, client databases, spreadsheets, and contract files.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding policy, contract, and renewal documentation.
• Support accurate processing of new and renewal group instructions.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred for this Contract Coordinator role.
• Strong typing, 10-key, and Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply contract language, policy information, and detailed administrative instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization and follow-through.
• Professional communication skills with internal staff and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and verify accuracy of group medical reinsurance contracts and notify the stop loss department of new stipulations.
• Review fully insured carrier group policies for accuracy and completeness.
• Check new and renewal group internal instructions for accuracy before distributing documentation internally.
• Maintain state licensing records for TPA operations and in-house staff with health and accident agent licenses.
• Complete client database entry and maintenance, monthly report posting, spreadsheet updates, scanning, filing, and shared drive organization.
• Communicate with vendors, internal departments, and business connections regarding new and renewal groups, BAAs, and related documentation.
