CFC is seeking a Paralegal, Legal & Compliance to support a broad range of regulatory and compliance activity for the US team. You’ll help maintain licences across all 50 states, ensuring timely submissions and accurate records.

You will also participate in regulatory reporting, broker onboarding, product filings, audits, and data protection initiatives, collaborating with underwriting, claims, and product teams.

Competenze

• 2 to 3 years regulatory and compliance experience.
• Experience with insurance regulatory filings and submissions.
• Knowledge of US admitted insurance compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; Law would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
• Legal experience, including drafting or contract review, is advantageous but not essential.

• Support the maintenance of insurance licences across all 50 states, including preparing, coordinating and filing submissions.
• Monitor licence status, maintain records and help identify and resolve licensing issues.
• Respond to regulatory and internal inquiries related to insurance licensing.
• Vet and onboard brokers, manage agency contracts and related processes.
• Provide compliance support for product rate and form filings and regulatory assessments.
• Handle regulatory communications with the wider Compliance team as needed.
• Review marketing materials against advertising regulations.
• Research regulatory and business risks; maintain the US office risk register.
• Support internal and external audits and related coordination.
• Stay updated on US laws and regulatory developments; provide timely compliance guidance.
• Support financial crime and sanctions processes where required.
