Chittenden Group, a well-established insurance agency in Naugatuck, Connecticut, seeks a Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and manage a book of commercial accounts.

The role involves client communication, nurturing key relationships, and ensuring data is tracked in secure systems. After training, the position will be hybrid remote with excellent benefits including PTO and health, life, and dental insurance.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of insurance industry experience servicing commercial accounts.
• Property and Casualty license.
• AMS360 experience and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Handle renewal submissions to various markets and maintain productive relationships with underwriters and staff. Coordinate timely renewals with the team.
• Manage day-to-day account transactions including additions/deletions of vehicles, property acquisitions, exposure changes, coverage reviews and program recommendations with client interaction.
• Explain coverage and billing details to clients; assist with quotes and renewals or updates to policies.
• Prepare and present client meeting materials and represent the company in discussions with clients.

Chittenden Group, a leading insurance agency in Naugatuck, Connecticut, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and manage a book of commercial lines accounts. Experience servicing construction, manufacturing, real estate and senior living, preferred. The Account Manager will manage client communications, nurture key relationships, keep track of all necessary documentation, help clients understand their coverage, and ensure all relevant data is properly tracked in our secured systems. This position will be hybrid remote after an initial training period.

Responsibilities

• Handle submission for renewal business to various markets and maintain a productive relationship with multiple insurance company underwriters and staff. Working with team members to execute all renewals in a timely manner. Generation of accurate renewal submission proposals.
• Manage day to day account transactions including additions/deletions of vehicles, property acquisitions, exposure changes, contract reviews, coverage analysis and program recommendations with client interaction.
• Give clear answers to clients on any coverage or billing questions including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes. Consult with clients to help process quotes and issue renewals or any updates needed to current policies.
• Effectively manage preparation and production of all elements of presentations for client meetings and properly representing the company. Address client questions and identify next steps as appropriate.

Requirements

• 1-5 years or more of insurance industry experience related to servicing commercial accounts
• Property and Casualty license
• Agency Management software experience; AMS360 preferred
• Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
