James Grace Insurance Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a friendly customer service professional to be the first contact for agency clients. You will handle inbound calls, assist agents with claims, billing, policy changes, and document updates.

The role requires 1+ year in a customer-facing insurance role, clear empathetic communication, and strong organizational skills. Licensing assistance is available. Mon-Fri schedule with 8:30–4:00 hours.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Property & Casualty Insurance License is preferred but not required, licensing assistance available.
• Clear and empathetic communication style for phone and email interactions.
• One or more years of experience in a customer-facing role within the insurance sector.
• Familiarity with insurance policy language.
• Strong organizational habits to manage daily inquiries and documentation needs.

Responsibilities

• Answering initial inbound calls to the agency. Provide support for existing agents in the agency with claims handling assistance, account maintenance including document management, billing, policy changes, certificates of insurance requests and client database updates.
