Job summary

Choice Insurance, a Vizance Company, is seeking a full-time on-site Insurance Admin Assistant at our Bloomington, MN location. The role focuses on customer-first service, data entry, and managing client accounts within an insurance program.

You will support Insurance Advisors, review coverage, and assist in onboarding new clients while maintaining files and handling billing inquiries. A 60-day window to obtain a Property & Casualty license is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of office administrative experience.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to obtain Property & Casualty license within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to assist with departmental projects.

Responsibilities

• Promotes customer retention by providing people first customer service.
• Administrative support with management of insurance client accounts, primarily with the technical system and data entry duties.
• Operational support for book of business, completing tasks timely and accurately to ensure compliance, organizational and client needs are met.
• Independently manages workflow to ensure efficient, accurate and timely processing of transactions and renewals.
• Assists with billing and payment inquiries.
• Checks new business policies, insurance renewal policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
• Verifies accuracy and coverage adequacy of policies, requests changes to correct errors as needed.
