Responsibilities

• Receive and log new insurance claims accurately.

• Determine settlements and authorize payments within limits.
• Maintain detailed records of all claim activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and log new insurance claims accurately.
• Gather necessary documentation and information from policyholders and other relevant parties.
• Assess the validity and scope of claims based on policy coverage and investigation findings.
• Communicate claim status updates to policyholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Investigate claim details, including liaising with assessors, investigators, and legal advisors where necessary.
• Determine claim settlements and authorize payments within delegated authority limits.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities.
• Identify potential fraudulent claims and escalation for further investigation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the claims process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an insurance claims handling role.
