Job summary

Pathfinder LL & D Insurance is seeking a highly organized Bookkeeper & Project Coordinator to join our San Antonio team. The role covers day-to-day bookkeeping, premium transaction records, and financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

You will support monthly closings and collaborate with the insurance group while helping implement AI practices to improve data management and efficiency across operations.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in insurance/financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting principles.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts receivable, reconciling client invoices and processing payments.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Maintain accurate records of premiums and policy-related transactions for compliance and reporting.
• Collaborate with the insurance team and support audit processes and insurance-specific financial procedures.
• Utilize various accounting software and contribute to AI-driven efficiency improvements.
