Guidehouse is seeking an Insurance Patient Account Representative. The role supports client offices by handling patient and insurer communications to resolve account balances.

The position operates on a hybrid schedule, splitting time between the San Antonio, TX office and remote work. Essential duties include account review, appeals/denials, Medicare/Medicaid handling, and extensive billing and follow-up tasks.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience.
• 0-2+ years of experience in office, business, operations, customer service or healthcare field.

Responsabilidades

• Review accounts and resolve balances.
• Handle appeals and denials with insurers.
• Follow up on Medicare/Medicaid accounts.
• Perform insurance follow-up and billing tasks.
• Provide customer service to patients and clients.
• Process UB-04 and CMS 1500 forms.
• Manage 40-70 accounts per day; complete assigned projects.
