Qualifications

• 1–2 years of healthcare experience.
• 2–3 years of insurance authorization experience.
• GED or high school diploma required; associates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations.
• Communicate with payers and internal clinicians to ensure timely referrals.
• Enter and update authorization details in the EMR/EPIC system.
• Identify and resolve authorization issues and missing approvals.
• Coordinate with Intake and Billing departments for smooth workflow.
