Job summary

• Experience in the healthcare industry with case management or discharge planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in EPIC and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Verify inpatient insurance coverage and pre-cert statuses daily.
• Contact admitting to obtain missing authorization information.
• Reconcile daily logs.
• Use EPIC to retrieve information for case management and UR.
• Maintain DNFB reports and release accounts as appropriate.
• Enter documentation into EPIC and coordinate with payors.
• Serve as interpreter when certified.
