Team Select Home Care is seeking an Authorization Specialist to manage and track patient authorizations across all locations. The role involves verifying eligibility, determining patient responsibilities, and coordinating with staff to secure necessary consents for services.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Check eligibility/benefits for patients as needed and upon intake.
• Obtain eligibility details, deductibles and out-of-pocket costs at the start of each year.
• Coordinate approvals and reauthorizations for all locations.
• Enter authorization data into the EMR accurately.
• Verify payor setup for active policies and maintain records.
• Run daily/weekly/monthly reports for the department.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure proper authorization use.
