Team Select Home Care in Denver, CO is seeking an Authorization Specialist I in RCM to handle insurance authorization requests for all plans. The role reports to the Authorization Manager and supports field staff with eligibility, benefits verification, and patient consent processing.

Responsibilities include tracking and obtaining authorizations, data entry into the EMR, payor setup verification, and generating regular reports. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience with insurance authorizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check eligibility/benefits for patients as needed.
• Obtain and track all authorizations for multiple locations.
• Enter authorization data into the EMR and verify payor setup.
• Communicate with internal/external staff and coordinate consent processing.
• Run daily, weekly, and monthly department reports.
