Job summary

Colliers Mortgage is seeking a driven Commercial Insurance Analyst to support our internal Escrow Department in Minneapolis. You will review loan documents and insurance coverage, request policy revisions, and communicate with lenders to ensure compliance. The role offers cross-functional collaboration and growth within commercial real estate and insurance.

This is a full-time, hybrid position with a clear path to develop expertise and contribute to a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of office experience or an associates/higher degree required.
• Commercial Property and Casualty insurance and/or servicing experience preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, financial documents or regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic reviews of loan documents and insurance coverage to ensure compliance with lender servicing requirements.
• Request revisions to insurance policies from agents/brokers with follow-up to ensure loan compliance.
• Communicate and make recommendations to lenders to resolve issues of non-compliance.
• Review various monthly reports to effectively manage the loan portfolio.
• Certify to lenders compliance with lender requirements as required.
• Educate borrowers on loan-specific insurance requirements.
• Other duties assigned.
