Horace Mann seeks an Exclusive Insurance Agent to join our team in a role offering 1099 compensation and a robust incentive structure. You will operate in an exclusive territory with no external office for the first two years, supported by a dedicated service representative to help you build your client base.

You will leverage cutting-edge technology, a comprehensive multiline product portfolio, and market-building programs to grow your business among educators.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in insurance and financial services.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health, Property and Casualty.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).
• Excellent interpersonal and business management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure opportunities within an exclusive territory to grow the agency.
• Present insurance and financial products to educators and related groups.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, schools, and districts.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
