Job summary

Horace Mann invites an Exclusive Insurance Agent to join a supportive team with cutting-edge technology and an exclusive territory. This 1099 role offers incentives and a comprehensive multiline portfolio designed to help you grow your independent agency with limited overhead.

You will focus on educators, build relationships, and leverage earning incentives and quarterly production rewards while receiving dedicated service support to manage client work.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance/financial services industry.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).
• Licenses required: Life and Health, Property & Casualty.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement solutions that help educators obtain affordable insurance and financial security.
• Achieve market access and build strong relationships with clients.
• Confidently present products to groups and individuals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:

  • Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
