Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators secure affordable insurance and build a financially secure future. You will operate in an exclusive territory with cutting-edge technology and a multiline product portfolio, supported by a dedicated service representative.

Earn competitive, performance-based 1099 compensation with an incentive package and quarterly rewards during the first 48 months, plus ongoing market and relationship-building opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance/financial services industry.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses for Life/Health and P&C.
• FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses may be required in your region.

Responsibilities

• Identify solutions to help educators access affordable insurance and financial security.
• Develop market access and build strong educator relationships.
• Confidently present products to groups and individuals.
• actively participate in networking, community and industry events.
• Invest time and resources to ensure long-term business success.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency


• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)


• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:

• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
