State Farm independent contractor agent in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an insurance agent to join a friendly, team-oriented agency. This full-time role offers base salary, commission and bonus opportunities, with training and support provided so previous insurance experience is not required.
You will build relationships, present tailored coverage options, and guide clients through important financial decisions.
Competenze
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or relationship-building is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to obtain a Property & Casualty license prior to start date (training and guidance provided)
- Willingness to obtain a Life & Health license
- Strong communication and listening skills are essential
- Self-motivated and dependable, with a focus on achieving goals
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new concepts
- Ability to build trust and develop lasting relationships with clients
Mansioni
- Contact prospective clients to develop insurance quotes and present appropriate coverage options
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Follow up with leads and identify opportunities to expand the agency’s client base
- Clearly explain insurance products and assist clients in making informed decisions
- Deliver friendly, professional service throughout the sales process
- Work toward individual and team sales goals to drive agency growth
- Ensure compliance with all applicable licensing requirements and training programs
